This has the same problem I had with 5toubun. Negi has no issues with portraying emotion with characters, but for some reason the MC is an exception. I don't feel anything from him. Like Fuutarou, trying to make him play it cool just makes him look alien instead, and this MC actually being an alien doesn't really help or excuse it either.
