Sorry for half of the chapter, but I really wanted to get this out. This is definitely me being selfish and I apologize if this annoyed anyone. I really adore this scene and how it goes down. Seeing Viper ask Six why he's doing all this, ruining everything for her, and seeing her facade break down in the face of his earnest friendship is beautiful. Spilling out her feelings thinking she'll never see him again. Threatening him with violence that she would never enforce, saying she hates him despite them both knowing that isn't the case. I love it. Six is also as strong as a character as he ever has been. He's still a jackass and mocks Viper for her confession, as Six would, but he cares for her and I really love how it's portrayed. Again, sorry for only half the chapter. It is me being selfish, but I just wanted to upload this on it's own.

Seeing Viper sad doesn't sit well with me but good that Six is rescuing her even though the consequences of his actions will probably bite him later on. Great scene all around & even though this will end in a chapter & a half, I look forward to the manga's finale. Thanks for the translations.

As one would say, "Do not interrupt the grill master!" This portion really does show how a short relationship can be such a good thing. I feel like in most stories it's a 1st girl wins mentality. But here it's just VI and Six being genuine good friends in such a short time span, because they get along well with each other.
