For some reason, I'm thinking of a line from that Doctor Who episode where Rose Tylor meets Sarah Jane Smith: "The Missus and the Ex. Welcome to every man's worst nightmare."

Ex-roommate here instead of a romantic partner, but it feels relevant somehow. Maybe it's the scene later on where Rose and Sarah Jane start swapping Doctor stories.

Aya is a very good friend, dunno why people throw shit at her...

So she tested out Nagato intention very well, Fukunaga didn't mention him and it's suspicious he is living with her like a "kept man", although Fukunaga has some bad impression of her being into "gray foxes" she should know better Aya was just teasing her.
It's good to have friends like her, whole lot of people aren't so straightforward in fresh relationships or later even, can sometimes get swooned by the moment and she would probably tell if Nagato would make a move if he would fall into a trap.

Aya admitted of "test his intentions with her body", Nagato is her type kinda, but even so that's a dangerous thin line she put herself into for a sake of testing his true intentions. Good friend in my book.

Nagato is true to his heart, figured out the play sooner than expected and came out flawlessly which made a huge impression on Aya, resting her assure Fukunaga is in right hands.
