Each chapter that comes out makes my feeling that this is shaping up to be a work with genuine merit stronger. It seems to me that this a different kind of Onimai, using the premise to explore the psychology of the kind of person that for some reason failed to integrate socially with others during their childhood. The combination of an undying obsession with and idolation of the concept of sex alongside a deep-seated self-loathing is characteristic of a type of "social failure" that you can see in spades in places like 4chan. Really hoping this manga keeps exploring this type of mindset and its rehabilitation.

He’s always depicted like that pre reincarnation, I think it’s just him locked in his room while his sister wished him a happy birthday.

His family always loved him even as he isolated himself, which fits the current situation where she’s constantly pushing away people who genuinely like her/love her, weird as she is.

Do I just have to accept that they'll forever just be a broken husk of a person? There are so many ways to conceptualize reality why do you have to choose one that just hurts you?
