this is almost as bad as the scene where Griffith rapes Casca while Guts was losing his eye in the eclipse, like, this shit is just pathetic and depressing, the guy is just possessing a minor body's with a fucked up story that he doesn't remember and we don't even need to talk about the family situation, man, what the fuck, I really don't recommend this to anyone except people that has nothing to do and already is fucked in the head, my condolences for you that read this till the final chapter because I not doing this

One of those bait and switches where the premise is fucked beyond belief but it's actually a heartwarming story about friendship and self love lmao.

My first impression from the first two chapters: the only real femcel is an incel who got genderbent lmao.
Edit: now that I'm caught up, my comment is unfair given how the MC acknowledges they are an old man reincarnated in his own genderswapped body. I wouldn't consider him (in his pst life) an incel anymore either, and just a very autistic person in both lives. A lot of people are spoonfeeding the MC knowledge they desparately need and proper socialization, but they keep throwing them in the dumps so far. Its no wonder in their past life, they ended up rotten.

It’s not a comedy like the description makes it out to be, though read even one chapter and you can probably tell that anyway.
It doesn’t have any kind of comprehensible message, because the manga (likely) got axed and the author had to BS something nonsensical.
It’s just gross most of the way through, and then once an actual plot starts peeking out, it gets completely retconned a few chapters later.
Save yourself some time and brain cells, and don’t read this.

Could you please tell me what the actual plot seemed to be? I thought it was pretty clearly about hte main character and her internal struggles, and those were resolved quite conclusively. In fact, the entire manga was basically building up to her dealing with her personal issues, with every misstep and misadventure.

This is prime garbage. And I love it.
Like, it's the type of thing I'd be extremely reluctant to recommend, unless the person I recommend it to is as much of a trainwreck as I am.
It has a lot of good points, the self-hatred, the MC being able to change, and the whole situation with sex and all.
The bad most likely comes from the form, the MC being goddamn closed off and showing the worst traits someone could have.
It's a "don't be a loser alone, go outside touch grass and talk with people" type of manga. That's it.

EI'm shocked by people's lack of reading comprehension; so many can't differentiate between saying something awful and defending something awful.
This story is about a horrible person, but it doesn't endorse that horrible person; it merely describes that horrible person. Absurd things are described, but they are not defended. This is a comedy; the author is making fun of them.
Let's start with the reason people are saying "oh, this is awful," basically because the protagonist went back to high school as a girl and is willing to have sex with other boys, If he were pursuing sex with other girls, I'm sure 70% of the comments would disappear.
Question 2: What is explored in the story is the protagonist's mental state; the protagonist is an adult, an incel, and completely crazy, detached from society. After years of isolation, he magically receives a second chance at life, like that second-chance story where the protagonist goes back in time, corrects his mistakes, and lives happily ever after, However, instead of going back in time and everything magically turning out right, he goes back in time as a girl, but because he's a complete madman, He throws away this magical chance to start over and embraces it as a chance to finally get sex, because he's a complete lunatic, and he embraces it as a chance to finally have sex, Given that it's obvious he would reach that conclusion, he's a crazy incel adult, of course he thinks that all he has to do, like a girl, is lower his skirt and all the boys will want to have sex with him, he is a 100% dysfunctional adult.
At this point we open a parenthesis; the story is about an adult who's not quite right in the head, who turned into a girl and desperately wants to have sex. It's not a work about fetishism, it's not a celebration of having an excuse to abuse minors. Nothing is presented in an erotic way, nobody here is looking for masturbation material, it's simply a daring premise.What we see most often is manga with a common premise, downplaying abuse and endorsing one twisted idea after another.
Back to our regular programming: Instead of seizing the opportunity life has given him, he goes to mass to try and lose his virginity; as this is a dark comedy, We follow the comical adventures of a complete madman trying to lose his virginity heterosexually; since he has no clue about what to do, he's guided by stereotypes. In the first one, he goes after the nerd, "surely the nerd is a frustrated loser who would do anything for..." In the second one, he goes after the bully "If he doesn't follow the school rules, he'll certainly do it to anyone."But because he has been disconnected from reality for so long, he can't understand that things aren't like that, that not everything is about sex; the reader observes how ill this person is and how much he needs help.
The author of the story did an excellent job of constructing, through dark humor and misadventures, a character who cannot love herself, cannot find peace, a person who needs help.
To say that this story is horrible, disgusting, and sickening is criminal, because it's not about celebrating the bad things it shows, but rather making the reader laugh while demonstrating "how horrible it would be to be like that."
Unfortunately, the ending of the work was certainly rushed. The ending isn't perfect; it could have been better developed, but there wasn't enough time for that. However, the ending is conclusive and doesn't invalidate the work. The journey that was being built, about the mental state of our favorite madman. It wasn't invalidated because of that, it's still an excellent read. You just need to get along with the sense of humor in the work and you'll be able to enjoy it. Attending the launch was a real event; seeing the chapter and reading the discussions generated by the new information was enriching. It bothers me that the story receives unfair criticism; yesterday I literally saw a bunch of people applauding a self-insertion manga about busty teenage girls flirting with older men. I can't even begin to describe how problematic this is without giving away spoilers, but it's basically about being able to imagine yourself as an older man who has busty women hitting on you, some of whom are underage.The situation becomes much more problematic, if you know what I mean. Well, that's my defense of this series. It's definitely worth reading; if it matches your sense of humor, it's fun, and it's also sociologically interesting.

It's because it was cancelled or axed, if you see a difference. I might be wrong, but if I'm not mistaken, the manga was a monthly publication of an online magazine. I see this kind of horrible advertising, Each chapter has to be impactful enough to be remembered for a month; you have 12 chapters a year to develop your story, which ends up being too little time to play around with the premise, The results need to come quickly; in this context, it's difficult for a more niche idea to shine. Around the time this manga ended, I saw two other fantastic manga meet the same fate.
Monthly publications in online magazines are cruel; it's not enough to have a good idea, nor for that idea to be mainstream, you have to be lucky enough not to be buried long enough for your story to shine. If your story shines, if it doesn't shine as much as the platform wants, maybe they'll just give up on you.
PS: This is more of my opinion than set-in-stone facts; I could be wrong, but I have a grudge against monthly publications. It hurts when I see something good relegated to that format. Twelve chapters a year can be disruptive; any story, if the author can't experiment, can die.
