I still can’t get used to the way this manga portrays male characters. I mean, why? Are they harder to draw than furry? And why didn’t anyone think that handsome male characters would be able to increase sales by attracting a female audience? I do not understand.
I think I understand where the author is going with the rat, but the problem is that the males die after the mating season, NO MATTER WHAT: at least let him have some fun before dieing
@Beregorn
No, the males die from excess, they do not feed or rest during it while looking for females in heat, causing their body to weaken irremediably. It's been proven that those held in captivity live longer.
@Arielacade when they go in heat, their metabolism goes into "overdrive mode" at the expense of the immunitary system: whether they actually reproduce or not has no effect on the damage their bodies already sustained.
Yes no transgender and please get rid of pointless hitomi and hopefully authors stops trying to force relationships... It’s the dumbest thing to do cause that’s how you lose fans!
So if im understanding this correctly, Jin had Ante diet so he doesnt have a reserve energy supply to overproduce the steoroid that kills him after mating?
or am I reading too much into this?
@boag sounds right.
Antechinus spend so much energy during their mating season that they will literally die off afterwards. If he has no energy in the first place, then he'll be fine. Although he'll be a dead lay but at least his girl won't have a dead boyfriend.
