I really gotta agree with ya there. It doesn't really help when the romance really hasn't gone anywhere between her and the MC (unless i'm misremembering, but usually if i cant remember something like that then it must be miniscule anyways.) If anyone was to jump in lately, they would definitely get the idea shes thirsting for the hyena and really doesn't feel anything towards the MC.
