i hate to point it out but isn’t this dude like really high up? Guy got like 15 foot ceilings.
Tbf that looks kinda like the layout of my old house, the second floor hallway overlooks the entrance which has a high ceiling, presumably he's hanging from the railing or something. Although that's a pretty uncommon design in Japanese architecture.

I haven't seen a tone-change this fast since Doki Doki Literature Club, and that one actually gave me enough time to care about the characters.

nice one. The author really did his homework on covering all "realistic" consequences of mesugaki bullshit
Is it normal in Japan to not lock the door? That makes no sense...
No, it's not normal. And that is why she is surprised. She even says "eh, the door is not locked?"

I actually really like this. I dig reading psychologically fucked up stuff and this just feels right. It may or not be a product of the author's own fetishes. But I won't really judge; we all have them.

I don't get the suicide. He fixed that bracelet before, so why not just do it again?
I understand what this series is going for, but a number of these chapters are just really badly written.
There's had been teenagers who committed suicide just because someone broke their smartphone.
He doesn't have anything or anyone who can give him the support he needs. That bracelet was probably the only thing, the only reason he had to live, not for him but for the ones he lost.

You should re-read the chapter again. Literally the first bubble explains that the bracelet had been broken before. If that was enough for him to kill himself, we wouldn't be having this chapter. This boy is clearly stronger than you think he is.

He killed himself because of the constant abuse, not because the bracelet broke. That was just the straw that broke the camel's back. What really irks me is that this chapter framed this suicide as if the bracelet was at the center of this suicide, when it clearly wasn't.

This chapter should've really been 2 pages long, with the first page showing the constant abuse, and the second showing the last straw. Hence why I said it was badly written.
