So far this has done a good job of showing how completely out classed the MC is, it should be a lot more satisfying when he finally wins. I hate it when the MC just breezes through every thing with a "cheat", it's nice seeing a hero have to actually work hard to grow mature, and become stronger/smarter to meet a challenge, it makes a victory feel so much more earned. It's an okay setup so far, I hope this wont fuck it up by having the ancestors give him superpowerful cheats or some shit.

Ceres you little slut.

If anyone's curious why Ceres is so muchstronger,
it's because Ceres literally stole Lyle's abilities with her skill. She even stole his memories so he can't even remember how strong he really was.

The magically rotating sword guard and or saber blade. Guess I won't expect too much consistency with the weapons on this one

I’m jaded by reading so much manga and the settings being so similar as well but it’s actually comical how hated he is. I’ll give a grace period for them to justify the attitudes, if they’re being magically influenced it feels a fair bit cheaper.

Ah well.

From the 1st part and now this, i feel like something akin of charm stuff at play here
Either it's something along those lines, or it's the very unique form of magic sourced from bottom of the barrel writing. If this actual farce isn't explained away with magic, then there's very little remaining of things that could save it.

I think the possession is more important to explain her and her parent's attitude towards Lyle, rather than the gap between her power and skill and Lyles

Although, actually I did almost miss the detail that this fight happened the day she picked up her sword. Like. . . How literal is that? Has she not received any sword training at all, or has she fought with practice swords and this is simply the first time she's held a real sword?

If it's just that this is her first real sword but she has been trained for a couple years, then I can believe it.

I mean, Lyle did say she'd basically surpassed him at everything five years ago, so I kind of assumed that included swordsmanship.
