Well surely the author knows what the people want now. Didn't like the post myself and while not completely, it did kill of some interest in me. Wonder why the author did that.

That route will never happen in the main story, confirmed by the author. Crisis averted I suppose, but I still don't understand why they did it. It probably killed the sales of the volume.
