@dysperwithaperiod Specifically, she would because she's a fox deity. There's an udon dish topped with fried tofu that's called "kitsune udon" because of the superstitions about the supernatural foxes in Japan enjoying fried tofu, for instance.

Aside from things being referenced further here but perhaps not in much detail, like this time, I might recommend High School Inari Tamamo-chan for a series that will reference a lot of this kind of stuff but often in much greater detail if you'd be interested in stuff like that. The beginning of many of the chapters is honestly semi-educational, delving a bit into details for historically or mythological information relevant to the rest of that chapter. Also, cute fox girl antics in abundance and all.
