Why do random chapters keep getting deleted from manga that are several years old? At least if all chapters were deleted we could just say goodbye and deal with the loss, this is just cruel, slowly bleeding our hope like this, leaving most chapters up giving us hope that they might come back, "maybe they're only deleted temporarily?", "Maybe they will come back?", but they won't and we're just here to suffer.

Around 30 chapters of Senko have vanished from this site randomly. Why? Mangadex is asking for fucking money and deleting manga for unknown reasons, and it can't be DMCA cause then everything would be gone.

The person who originally uploaded these chapters removed them. probablx because othey feared legal consequences or something like that. since stalker scanlations upload permission is set to anyone, someone could reupload the chapters (sorry i dont have them)
maybe a mod like @Bartolumiu could restore these chapters and set the user uploader to the Mangadex user (its been done before elsewhere)

According to internal data, that wasn't us (or else they'd show up as "unavailable chapters"). That was the uploader themselves deleting the chapter.
While I technically can restore any deleted chapter on the website, I'm not sure if I'm allowed to. On the other hand, we've previously moved the chapters under the system account with the agreement of the original uploader/translation group.

well, in this case i don't think you really need permisson to move it to the system account for two reasons:
- the groups (STALKER https://mangadex.org/group/49f92445-782d-4879-bdd3-1747dc1aab7a/stalker-scanlation and/ or /a/nonymous https://mangadex.org/group/f19ee895-ecd8-4061-a655-3d8f5c3aa7df/-a-nonymous ) uploadpermission is set to anyone. so basically everyone who has the chapters can (re-) upload them again anyway.
- the group(s) did not request the removal of the uploads and shut off their MD groups (like others did). this was a reaction of a single uploader after the dmca disaster.
may i use this chance to voice my immeasurable sadness regarding this whole situation once again?
when i look through all the titles and see the lost hard work of so many years i feel pain. the groups did better jobs than the official TLs. i compared quite a few in the past (english official -german official -english scanlation) e-h scans golden kamuy and dungeon meshi beat the official crap by far.
no publisher outside japan will ever touch redo of healer or upotte!!

well, you can do that. the title was not striked and the groups uploadpermission is: Anyone.
so anyone can upload the chapters. It would be easier if the Mods / @Bartolumiu would just restore the chaps and set the MD Admin account as user/ uploader.
the same dude who deleted his uploads after the strike probably also deleted all the chapters from aekanaru https://mangadex.org/title/8c21fe3b-4fe6-4f11-b51b-ced00d8aec60/aekanaru
STALKER had scanlated this whole title. these chapters shuould be restored as well (same reasons as with the senko chapters).
