I would assume that he, like Christopher/Anthony, knew about the brainwashing beforehand and thus was careful around the coffee. But honestly, since he didn't say it now, I'm doubting it'll be brought up in the future.

while I would love this being answered, we've been having very many lore dumps at a rapid pace lol. iirc the manor was less strict with brainwashing procedures pre-Kate's Era though.

I'll say it's less "resist" and more "avoid".

1. During the Selection - the Mirror Family managed to receive intel about the coffee years before Anthony's Selection, and as result, they were able to prepare measures to counter it. Case in point, we saw Anthony stayed awake on the train ride into the House. While the exact method remains a mystery, it's surmisable other agents since would employ it too, including Jeremy.
2. Period when Christopher was Star Bearer - the Special Coffee at this time were still served and consumed in the individual rooms, so easy to ignore
3. Period when Barbara was Star Bearer - this is when the Parties of Delight were held, but seeing as Jeremy is part of the Research Team, it wouldn't be out of place for him to just stay and sleep in the shack and avoid going to the Parties at all

I literally shouted what?! when Kate said this. To me this seemed more reckless than necessary as she could've just asked Jeremy to become another ally, and it was still possible that asking "Will you offer your life to me" could get a rejection
