Love this infographic that shows the factions. I've been keeping track on my own, but it's always better to see it laid out in canon. Also lets me know if I forgot anyone who should be in a certain faction. Nice to see Louise is still counted as one of the 33 in Kate's faction, because she's still there but being taken care of offscreen.

Didn't expect to see more backstory on Emilyko, but it's more than welcome. Surprise romance tidbits? Even more welcome. Emilyko was positively dazzling that night, and I'm sure Shaun's heart skipped a beat from that kiss. For Shaun, there was only one star that dark cloudy night, but it was more than enough for him to be seeing even more stars.

Emilyko is such a sweetie cinnamon roll, don't let her slip through your fingers in the end...

i think ive read those 2 pages of emilyko’s backstory 30 times now. i keep coming back to this chapter because of the wrongness it stirs in me. a miserable existence of death and suffering. much of the great changes in the house of shadows wouldn’t have come to fruition without emilyko’s bravery, and yet she genuinely believes her place is in the mud. it hurts. like a dreadful premonition of where she thinks she will return to.
