i knew it! i think sayaka is doing her job and i think that doing an experiment on our Kurumi is a part of her job. I'm sure she's the reason why her memory isn't working. There was a reason why we got to see that only Sayaka's rat lived in that experiment. but...Kurumi needs to ask more info and start writing herself more notes. I wonder if the tea is erasing her memory...or if that little thing that they put inside of the rat in the first chapter can also be used to affect Kurumi's memory from the inside. I can't wait for ch 3 bc i definitely want to know. I also want to read the raws for this, so im gonna have to remember to grab them

You're probably right, the idea that all of Kurumi's memory loss is part of an experiment would match with what we know about Sayaka.

I'm really liking this series, thanks for scanlating!

The scar looks a lot like a C-section too (first I thought most are horizontal but apparently there's also a vertical variant), so she might have been or still be in the "Insemination"-class.

Together with Sayaka's success on the mouse experiment and the teacher insinuating it could be used to affect memories you can paint a very bleak picture :cautious:.

Y'all don't spot the red flags?
  • 14 yrs from accident and know jack shit about its detail
  • No quick memory update protocol (50 first dates anyone?)
  • Living in secluded location with only 2
  • More ppl was injured in same incident (at least 3) and they don't all live together/meet
  • No 'class' nor job and still have pension
  • Not having to do job and still living large despite taking care of amnesiac person
  • Familie got dissolved but still deliver groceries
  • Doing nail again and still doesn't know her like and dislike
  • Avoid mentioning other friends
  • 'Do you think I was mean before?' x2, bitch you've lived with me for 2 months already, you should know this

this is why i prefer manga over novels. with manga you can use similar plot devices with different execution. i see twist miles away but the beautiful art and panel pacing built up to this moment very nicely.

I figured the twist would be something like this, but it was nice to pretend there was a sweet romance going on here.

I think the girl with memories really does love our MC. I also think there is a lot of complex stuff going on in the background. Interesting.

Wow, what a twist!
They had us in the first half ngl
Seriously, it's actually depressing. Pretty much the whole chapter I was thinking how cute this is and what a nice person Sayaka is lol. Then we get the reveal at the end there and that just kind of crushed my heart.
