So in the first life it was a failure of the adults around them. Rather sad. Her parents should have guided her more to stand on her own and his mother should have taught how to give gifts and to look after his fiance. The teachers and parents should have called that little piece of trash out. Glad they got their Happy ending in the end.

This was nice. Bonus points for even explaining how the reversal happened. Bit wondering why the hoe got also affected, but maybe it was so, she could get her due. Now I am wondering, if the grandmother too used the watch to reverse her life?

Here's hoping all the other stories are atleast near this level, but let's be realistic. Just like in the villainess anthology, there are bound to be some misses.
Come to think of it, there most likely will be a villainess story or two in this!

Hope we get some “I didn’t get tough or wild enough reversals” the clean up ones can be cop outs when the MC really just needed to go ham.

He's a very naive fellow if he can just gloss over being poisoned as his own fault, lmao. Sounds like he had no clue Karen was instigating it in the first life.
I'm guessing he did, actually. The note with Viola's birthday gift sounded like an attempt at reassurance that he loved her despite how Karen had poisoned her mind. It was also probably the reason he took initiative to investigate her this time around, so he could stop her from driving Viola to despair.
Still, as you pointed out, REALLY weird that he wasn't at least hesitant to be in a relationship with a girl that killed him before.

Maybe he was into yandere?

This kind of reminds me of time regression stories before the isekai and villainess genres popped off (not entirely, cause some tropes are still there). I think if this were a full manga, I'd like to see her still have some of the yandereness that led to this situation to begin with
