Well, I had a feeling if I read through eight chapters of this, I would find one half-decent one. Finally found it at number eight. Unfortunately, it's only half-decent. But an FL with actual agency was a breath of fresh air.

Agree with the rest, this story did not need a second regressor (which is what these are, not reincarnators. They have the same bodies as the first time around, so they are not 'reincarnated'.) His part in this, without any hints of regression, would have been better.

That, and rewritten as an actual series (maybe a short two or three volume one) would be even better. This chapter had the potential for that.

Not a bad chapter, but the fact that it's actually not bad is imo what really proves to me that this concept is very hard to make an anthology for. The problem is that, with regression stories, you want to actually see the MC's progress, see the romance build up, see the politics of the plot actually happen. And a single normal length chapter in an anthology is just not able to deliver those things. It's really a shame, because I bet if each story got like 3-4 chapters, the authors would have a lot more wiggle room with their plots.

Yeah. It's obvious short-form story telling is not for them lol
Believe the intent of anthologies are to help increase their chances of serialization. They're one shots.
Not to mention they're reading it for free, so the entitlement is insane to be complaining this much. Pretty sure my comment will be heavily disliked because of this

Yeah. Like Ceiye said, these are pretty much a collection of junk food. Especially considering they came from syosetsu the slop manufactory. However, one could say that dunking on them is also part of the enjoyment. Not that I necessarily agree, but sometimes you read a chapter that really frustrates you that you can't help trashing it, you know? Like, say, volume 1 chapter 2 of this anthology.

However however, I also noticed that sometimes users would poke fun at something that the story itself had already explained. Now I don't know about you, but if I managed to misread a syosetsuslop that hard, then that says more about me than the story.

Nobody has addressed this so far but... she was a child when the knight was fired. He's known her since she was a child but he's in love with her. Something is seriously wrong here.
