That's not how it works in politics, basically the peace treaty was to ensure a war that could end badly between the 2 nations was avoided, however the demons just lost their strongest fighter, and begonia has a stronger one (the MC), who they are obviously gonna try and railroad into going to war with the demons at the head of the army.

Treaties are rarely actually friendly, it's more about mutual benefit, when the benefits of breaking a treaty outweigh the treaty itself, then nations attack, this is still true today but WMD's tend to keep that in check.

Basically, begonia has a stronger army than the demons now that felix is dead, and conquering the demon's territory is far less risky now.

I bet Begonias king will use this attack on the village to force a marriage with her and she will have to flee anyways and they meet again like before.

Welp, he basically cleared the game. Now all he needs to do is frick the childhood friend girl unless she says something like "I only saw you as a little brother" which i doubt would happen.

Was Felix even the strongest demon out there? Also, what's with the tension? So, they have good relations with Begonia, and the village that Felix was about to invade is in Begonia territory, making it an act of invasion, but he failed and it wasn't even the King's command either. So what's the problem exactly? Plus, the king of Begonia didn't even play a part in the death of Felix either, so neither Kingdom made any wrongs. Or at least neither King has. So then, their relationship should still be good, so what the fuck is with the tension? At the very most, MC should be recruited in some manner no? THERE WEREN'T EVEN ANY SOLDIERS DURING THE INVASION EITHER, so like, this was very clearly an independent act from Felix, it's barely political.

Also, I'm confused about the politics. Is it the usual demons vs humans? If so, MC's love interest being a demon, and a princess, makes that kingdom a demon kingdom, yet they have good relations with a human kingdom? Unless MC's village is literally some randomly stranded human village smack down the middle between two demon kingdoms.

Felix destroyed the secret alliance by attacking a village
That doesnt even make sense, if both kings had a treaty because they knew Felix was a Warmonger, then why the fuck would they have no forseen Felix attacking?

I bet the king was waiting for this since he knew that they guy was going to start mass invading. And used the fact that a single town getting attacked as provocation for war. And with the strongest person Felix being dead, that’s the biggest war issue out of the way. Either there will be a talk of giving them something or retaliation.

so he loses the love of his life, but gets his child hood friend?

err this is what happens when you tamper with time.... butterfly effect, it comes rippling down, if not its tempus fugit where time forces a correction back to its proper path regardless of what action you do.

So Irene will no longer be forced to run away from the Demon Kingdom, but will possibly be sent as an ambassador to prevent the war, and have to look into the guy who is strong enough to defeat the guy who was strong enough to defeat her father.

The last two pages make no sense, if Begonia wanted to help the princess and knew about Felix, how is Felix attacking a village in the border territory and getting his ass whooped a problem for the king?

@Toykio based on the both the history and current state of the kingdom, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Felix had genuine supporters outside the former king's faithful. if his supporters refuse to accept coming under the former king's rule again, they may well attack the other kingdom for "revenge" over their fallen "king" and if that happens, matters spiraling into a full out war would be pretty much impossible to prevent, no matter what the two kings desire

@Toykio Because of the public opinion, should it become known that an important member of another nation tried to willfully raze a village. The people of the attacked nation will feel threatened and it could spark unrest for retaliation. And Felix probably didn't usurp the throne with a complete 0% approval rating, he probably had some co-conspirator who will be peeved at losing a strong ally and will seek retribution.

In the end such an incident becoming public knowledge, which it already have, put a huge strain on the relationship between the two nations. And while the rulers themselves will probably oppose war, a ruler power is effective only up to the point where the people follows them, so it could start unofficial hostilities on both sides which would then grow to the point where the rulers don't have the choice to avoid official conflict.

In order to avoid this case-scenario, both nations will need to work their asses off in diplomatic exchanges to overshadow Felix's aggression.

Felix was a douchbag but he does shows that what he says holds some value as we see the state of the current kings rule and how incompetent he is.....circumstances circumstances whatever it is it still holds to the fact that the current king lacks any ambition and a backbone.

Guess Mc ain't getting together with the princess like before.....what makes me worried is that if the time works the same way here then though the current threat was handled due to the knowledge of the mc time balance itself so he might have triggered something much worse or of equal magnitude for the future.
