I wonder if you need a make up when working as an assasin (beside a disguise), because if there is a brawl and someone managed to hit your face, the make up will be ruined, and well it can attract more attention.
Overall, this chapter reinforces the notion that Kanako is a natural, instinctual killer. Even when she's obviously not of the caliber of her opponent, her body just knows how to just naturally strike.
