ha! yeah, with the way these games are built, it's really not just about seeing cute girls die gruesomely it's about selling exciting adventures about seeing the girls create their own stories.

So then, what do you do to the ones who don't want to show you an interesting story? These can games very easily teeter from dangerous but fair where a good sense of caution and the ability to work together will ensure survival, to a gore-fest no one is even meant to surive.

If someone is simply too much of a heel, and not even in an interesting way, no reason to keep them around is there.

unfortunally most death games stories don't get this and rely on cheap and unexciting ways to convey the thin line between living and dying

it's one of the reasons I really like this one. it's not just one big deathgame and you're done. the deathgames here do pay well but not so well you don't have to do at least a couple to get your debts squared away or set yourself for life or the like.

And because of this the story can kind of function as an examination of death games as an enterainment medium where death is never that far away, but you don't actually want to guarantee it otherwise you'll run of participants very quickly and it will just be less fun to watch.
