I know it's almost 4yrs but Just gonna put it here for others to see:

"Because if you dress like this (referring to non Gyaru make up)
in the countryside, you'll be clean. It's plain and serious."

Means if she stopped wearing make up, she won't stand up.

And she'll get friends in her uni. (Which is sadly she didn't)
