ONLY real happy ending is possible if mc thinks something like:if i dont stop being puppet she will be unhappy forever i need to stop.and stops being a puppet she goes crazy over him tries everything to get her puppet back but once she realizes she is wrong she stops and they can try healthy releationship then?

That implies she has any feelings. It's clear by now she is some kind of psychopath so she can't feel any emphaty. This won't have a pretty ending, the over the top stuff from the get go should have given us an idea by now.
