@IVVO he didn't reincarnate or study to become strong, he did it to make friends. There's literally only two chapters of this story in existence, can you really not read that much at least before commenting? He has absolutely no social skills or any idea how to make a friend, and the one friend he has right now offered to be his friend and he just accepted. This isn't even implied, it's outright stated to be true.

The Hero even said that he was going to school to learn common sense, and not magic, and the way he said it seems to imply that he at least has guessed at the kind of power the protagonist actually has, even if he doesn't know he's the reincarnation of the Demon Lord. Obviously he doesn't need to study magic. Obviously he could probably fight every mage in this era at once and likely win. Sure is a good thing they made it a point to say that him getting stronger isn't the objective of anything that's happening right now. I guess you missed that part, with the whole two chapters that have been released thus far? Got lost in the tangle of content, huh?
