I'm actually kind of leaning more towards selfish than dense. He clearly is over with living by someone else's orders, and is hell bent on doing things his own way. But honestly, that seems to have become somewhat of a crutch for him. You can live doing what you want, but you don't need to do that 24/7.Either Yuuri is dense, which would be the common trope, or he's socially handicapped...
=> If not, then he's a rather selfish person who doesn't care much for other people even if they're closed firends.
are you trying to make me NOT read like, half of the mangas on this site?We need a "Dense Protagonist" tag on MD
Preach !I'm actually kind of leaning more towards selfish than dense. He clearly is over with living by someone else's orders, and is hell bent on doing things his own way. But honestly, that seems to have become somewhat of a crutch for him. You can live doing what you want, but you don't need to do that 24/7.
Also, if what the watet spirit said was true, and that they were actually dating before, then this is really kind of sad for her too. Because the only thing really preventing her from getting back with him is his own selfishness of wanting to do things his own way, simply because he no longer has the full memory from that time.
I'm not saying he should have just dropped everything and moved in with her right there on the spot, but just bailing from the area at the first chamce he gets, without even really saying much or giving it some actual thought about what this feels like for her, imo, seems really shallow of him to do.
It is just always such a shame to find a series with pretty good art, a cool premise, only to find out that the MC is socially inept.are you trying to make me NOT read like, half of the mangas on this site?
Infinite Stratos is a joke of a series though...The MC is as dense as Orimura Ichika, the density is as dense as Black Hole
Yeah this is retarded writing, how can someone with previous lovers be dense to what he said and we know he's not joking either so theres not even that.Yeah, I'm sorry but dense protagonists saying suggestive things that can cause a misunderstanding is nothing new, but there's no way in hell he doesn't understand what he just said. Something tells me if Aqua and he really were in a relationship back in his previous life, she was probably the only one who thought so. If he's THIS dense, he would probably just think they were really close friends.
"Hugging, being kissed, going on dates? Girlfriend? Nah, she's just a good friend. That's normal between friends right?"
I think I read somewhere that in the light novels come to find out Ichika was VERY much aware of all the girls feelings but he just didn't want to harm their friendship or some crap like that. So he chose not to choose, thus they kept fighting over him.Infinite Stratos is a joke of a series though...
And in Ichika's case, that dude is not just extremely dense, he's brain dead.
