I can't figure out for the life of me what he thinks to achieve by hosing the dried up fountain with water from the outside.
Does he think he can somehow fill the aquifer that the fountain is presumably supposed to draw water from by just spraying water at the outside?

Besides, again, wasn't his goal to go through this life without being regarded as some saint / monster and live life for himself? Yet apparently he is already back to making a huge scene in front of people.

That is his goal. And while for some of this life he had no choice but to be excessive so that he and/or those around him didn't die, or the world was thrown off balance making living peacefully impossible, I cannot give him an excuse for when he goes and does things like this.

Like man, pick a lane. Either care about people's problems or don't. Don't just ignore the problems of the spirits, then go do shit like this.

Hmm. The water is out and people are thirsty, but apparently not thirsty enough to relocate to a more livable location. Better use my excessive water magic to help them.
