I always interpreted this chapter as the MC holding unrequited feelings for Asuna– thus the bittersweet attitude towards Asuna getting married and wanting her as the photographer. Seems like that might have just been me, though 🤔 Would have been strange anyways since this author doesn't do GL AFAIK.

To think that rude, selfish, grumpy...etc would grow up to be an editor and find someone saintly enough to marry her. I'm happy for this family.
