Weeaboo on the other hand is a derogatory term for the worst types of people in the anime/manga fandom, from degenerate perverts who want/need sexual content in every story even if (oftentimes especially if) the characters of the work are minors, to the assholes who deride all other mediums and get into arguments with people who like other forms of media and give us all a bad name. You shouldn't proudly proclaim yourself a 'Weeb' my guy.

Pretty sure just as Otaku was originally a derogatory term in Japan that just got absorbed and turned into a somewhat "accepted" title, the same can be said for Weeb/Weeaboo, hell even Degenerate is becoming a title people are proud to be called... the real derogatory term currently is "Tourists".
