Why the hell would he prefer "family life" and "friendship is magic" just after 6 years (and prob before) when he has been fighting, killing and seeking power for hundreds upon hundreds of years? This manga makes zero sense!

Also, LOLIS! I FORESAW IT! Shall I start a business, were I see into the future, and scam my clients?

@Wilhelm_Stenvall It was mentioned in the first chapter (which I seem to forget every time I read this series) that he wants comrades so he can experiment with magic that requires more people (a common staple in fantasy are spells, ceremonies, and rituals that require multiple people (often a prime number) in order to control and execute).

Also, I think the hundreds of years part of his monologue was meant as how long it's been since his previous life, but I'm not 100% on that since I haven't seen the raws.

So let me get this straight, there's a giant monster in a plain field and the driver can't see it until they are right next to it? And children will just ask random strangers (another kid at that) if they can perform magic augmentation, if they were already considering that then why didn't they bought a normal sword and searched for someone to do that?

Sigh... the writer is just going with whatever he wants it seems.

@Wilhelm_Stenvall cause your emotions are based on your brain. New brain new emotions.

So, since he knew what that tiger beast was and the sword dude that just means he re-incarnated into his own world just in the future?

@Wilhelm_Stenvall If he would have preferred staying with the family, then he would have done so. He left, so while he thinks staying there wouldn't have been so bad either, obviously he still prefers strengthening himself on a journey.

People may be catching on to the fact that the majority of the story is dependent on people being surprised by what he can easily do, and him acting like he's surprised that they're surprised. Afaik it never stops, he never gets the picture even when it's super obvious.

"Is that information supposed to be useful?"
He's telling you so you don't get ripped off, idiot.

+2 to Harem

@humbleoverlord Lol, right? He didn't realize a colossal monster was on the road until he was like 20 feet from it.

The premise of the story was great but this just turned into another generic school isekai. So much wasted potential.

So I'm guessing a friend of his in his past life somehow reversed the prejudice that the 1st mark is the worst and the 4th is the best.

You're not wrong. The premise has potential, but how the author is expositing the lore and the MC's abilities feels extremely contrived. The art is decent, but the author's ability to convey the story is subpar.
