No is not dropped since square enix licensed it themselves, this is still getting volumes and individual chapters, individual they been releasing like a split weekly, and the next 3 volumes (22-24) already got dates, latest 21 was published this month (which have up to chapter 65)

I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. Most publishers, with the exception of Viz, don't really seem to give a shit when online translators do their own versions of a property they license. LH translations are still doing My Isekai Life despite the fact that it's licensed by the same company that does The Strongest Sage with the Weakest Crest.

TL;DR

If it makes you and other people happy, I say go for it.

I'm pretty sure LH stopped because they ran out of translation of Web Novel to transcribe over. They stopped right at the point the WN translation did from what I remember 2 years ago when I tried to find the continuation.

LH accepts a bunch of staff and doesnt really QC them. I imagine the translator that was working on this one didn't have good japanese. Maybe he just referenced the novel a bunch and couldn't work without it, idk. I'm just going full Speculation Ops here

If you want, i got a bucket list of fantasy mangas that hasn’t seen a new ch in months or even years, even in official capacity.

And then there’s mangas like Grenadier which has been out of print for at least a decade, so it’s even completely fine to upload official pages…assuming you could find those pre-internet pages, since it’s from the 90s-early 2000s and has no reprints. At that point you’re not pirating a manga, but preserving it for future generations.

But yeah, don’t worry too much about officials unless it’s a very popular series like One Piece, or if some dumb fuck decides to put the whole ch in insta. In fact, keep scanlating because sometimes the officials are regionlocked (usually to US), so fuck that shit, and why is regionlocking still a fucking thing.

i'd say it's been dropped from fan based scan. 2 years. as long as you're not carbon-copy another's work, and it's just yours, you should be fine as long as you're not "paid" for it , once you are then you're monetizing it which could cause trouble. otherwise it's greatly appreciated updates to this series has been brought to this dead series.
