Didn't read it, but the title is "The Strongest Brave Man of the Black Wizard" and he just turned 25. Looking bleak for the next 5 year, man. (((((((((((
Great purge them all in darkness huzzah ! Lose weapon, cash and defensive tool... why did he let those girls taking all ? So bad that MC never trust at 100% specially if you isekai or get multiple heroes well he didn't read that. And the fuck 3 girls are with 3 other heroes while MC got only tools and no gf.
so two beings wanted to end their own lives met.... i would be happy to see them together but it would be much better to get revenge...and when he will i hope that he won't forgive them... or give any mercy....since he is the hero of darkness... it's perfect to become a villain...
So I'm guessing but the other upload ended at the slime being cut in half. Now that I've seen the rest, it's pretty good. 3 years just to ruin someone because of jealousy, I wonder what happens next.
@Qelix novel for this manga is slow to update. So far it''s only at least 4-7 chapters ahead? That's not that far. Read the spoiler for his past life and his current goal.
Apparently before he met the 3 of those girls he already had a Lover. Who died because he left the town he was staying in due to a job in the city.
The Girl died from a wyvern attack or something forgot what monster it was. I think that was 3 years or so ago?
Also he shows no signs of pursuing those people as of now. But he first plans to get the Magic Sealing stones that sealed 90% of his powers.
So depending on how the authors roles we may get to see revenge.
@Crywolf641: I don't know how edgy the original author is, but judging from this first chapter, I just can't see him going on a revenging spree. Nobody really died, it's rather obvious, that the 3 girls didn't want to do this and that the two male "heros" are too stupid to be effective villains. They didn't even have the balls to end it there and teleported him away. Couldn't they teleport a corpse? This dark betrayal plot should have had a dark, dark, bitter chocolate flavor, but tastes like very light milk chocolate with a hint of vanilla. So it depends on, if the mangaka portraed it a bit to light heartedly and the novel is actually really dark, or not. I believe not.
That's why I fear this might turn into a badly written revenge "I forgive everyone" plot. An I decide to live a slow life
, after I get my powers back,
plot with heaps of wholesomeness would fit this so much better.
Here is a outline of my worst fears:
Fox and MC befriend and go on a quest for the crystals. They find the girls for revenge and...turns out they have been forced. Their beloved ones/they themselves are freed and they are forgiven. They even rejoin the harem....wait a sec...I'm trying to keep my lunch inside....So they try to get revenge on one of the male Heros. Oh! Turns out he and the others are just smalls fries, that have been manipulated and another hero is the master mind. They are slightly punished and forgiven. So they try to get revenge on the Mastermind and... Oh! Turns out the mastermind and everyone else have been manipulated by female Wind Hero and all of them are forgiven, except the wind hero. So wind hero is the enemy, but why did she do it? Mysterious, mysterious... Turns out she is a demon and sad, because her poor species has been bullied. MC forgives her...but that evil demon lord, that manipulated poor wind hero...that bastard surly will...be forgiven too, as it turns out, he just wanted to protect his people and isn't evil at all. Everyone is happy. The End. Maybe the reveal around wind hero happens earlier, so she can joint the hare sooner.
who thought that combining parts of the chapter is a good idea? the read mark r gone and dumb people like me really would just ignore it and think "hmm weird i already read it tho so lets read another manga"...
i thought that the story would go like "both of them wants to die in style so they became the new demon lord" but i guess im wrong from the other comments...
@Crywolf641@Robbini Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that them betraying him is A-okay, confessing love to him first further hurts their case, and I understand wanting to see them dead, that said between them crying earlier shows that they did not want to betray him (potentially even genuinely falling for him but that could also be a lie so I'm not banking on the extent they felt for him) this already sets the stage for them to have been in a situation where they believed they had no choice. This idea is furthered by having the heroes that they each work for being the ones to physically drain his power, physically chain him up, etc., as while what they did is more hurtful than what the heroes did with them not committing any physical acts which do him direct harm it paints an unclear picture as to their emotional states, after all if he was going to want to die either way wouldn't it make sense that if these girls felt nothing for him it'd hurt him more emotionally to have them be the ones chaining him up, draining his powers, and laughing at him instead of this bunch of nobodies who he barely knows? The fact that the punches were pulled and kept the three girls away from becoming 100% obvious villians who cannot be redeemed despite how if they did it would have put the MC more in the state of mind that the author wanted suggests to me that they'll return, they will be regretful for what they've done, MC will fix whatever issue that forced their hand, the rest of their party will fall apart one way or another, and then they'll tag along with MC and Fox girl to try and make it up to MC.
I'm not saying they're justified, I am pointing out subtle hints that the author is laying down to setup things so that they will try to atone for their actions because well, if your enjoyment of the story hinges on MC killing the girls (rather than killing the heroes or otherwise watching them die) then it may be better to jump ship now.
