I still don't understand why Gai rejected Shio after going to all that trouble of talking with his brother...
And now he's acting like an a**hole.

As readers, what are we supposed to do with this ?
(because it's clear Shio doesn't really care that much about Ran)

@lugdu I think it was because he realized he just wanted to be independent for a while. His mother was always restrictive and having a gf would be more of the same. I think he just wanted to figure out what to do with himself 1st before starting a relationship. U could see he was worrying about what he will do in the future since his friends were already working towards their future
