@serenata Idk, but there might be metaphorsfor them, too. iirc, TKMZ said something like “fish are metaphors of death” in a twitter post back in 2016 (atleast, that’s what someone in mangadex said), so TKMZ might’ve also given the pear and asparagus metaphors, too.

The movie scene really made me think of the simulation part of Shimeji Simulation.
