It's as if there is some sort of unseen cosmic force deliberately making the plot move forward. She is aware of it, but there is nothing she can do about it. That sort of meta-awareness of the plot could make for a neat short story. "I Have No Love and I Must Confess"

isnt it implied that he is literally the main character and I think it doesnt have that much of an effect, maybe makes people not weary of him or every girl would be in love, unless this world recognized those three as heroines, but I personally dont like that, it takes out personal acauntability from a character
