I don't think that is "genuinely worried". What he does is nothing more than possess her and ignore everything else. If he truly worried for her, he should notice her emotion was from fun, exciting turned to sad, shut-in.

I don't think Mr. Romcom realizes that he's doing anything wrong in these scenarios? Like, I sort of feel bad for him because of how blind he is. I feel like if he realized what he was doing earlier on in his life he might have been able to become a better person, but of course, he's supernaturally always the perfect protagonist and nothing bad can happen to him.

Basically this is why fmc becomes some sort of antidote against him, his main character aura even influenced the real Mc into depression and thinking like a mob (he was very passive and doormat like, but not broody) until he meets shiho, poor girl had to suffer being near him so much that she ended up being able to hear his bullshit just in the tone of her voice

They probably misread the situation and think "Wow, Shiho sure is lucky to have someone like Ryuzaki to look out for someone like her." Shiho never really bothers to express her true feelings on the matter directly to anyone until she befriends the MC.

Also him being that much of a brat so young is kinda stupid imo. Then again I just don't like evil children usually. Though funnily enough I'm 90% sure I've seen a similar dynamic used before between two characters in another rom-com manga but I can't remember which.
