From what I garner, I believe she becomes a new "Kizuna" of sorts by being the mother (figuratively?) to all, where she rewrote history to make magicians humans and such. She dies but seems to make it so that Kizutaka's kid will be a reincarnation of her. Not the Risuka we knew, but a new self that goes her own way... Kinda like Sailor Saturn, if you've ever seen Sailor Moon lol. I don't blame you though, the last few chapters are very rough with what they're trying to say and fall short pretty hard.

On one hand I'm happy it got to be completed... on the other, what a disappointing ending. It felt rushed, somehow too wild, and I really think it was just a cop out ending - like nisioisin wrote himself in to a corner - if it's as true to the story as the group claims. There could've been real world building and character development but there never was. Honestly I'm not even mad about the story so much as I am about the potential. Just feels like he gave up. Could've had a cool urban fantasy story. Though I think (someone please correct me) this was started reasonably early in his career so it makes a bit of sense it didn't evolve as well as others. Really though, I think what hurts the most is that I kinda enjoyed the early chapters.

Thanks for the chapters and all the work. I too agree with her changes by skipping that and omitting a few things. Overall I enjoyed this more than Pretty Boy Detectives or the Spy manga he wrote recently. It had such a great start and it’s a shame it rushed to the conclusion with an info dump to connect all the dots. I’m happy with the way it ended though (like final chapter). Overall this was fun.

Honestly, it was fitting to see the start and endings meet up like this. Also, the explanations did help clear up some inconsistencies, but even without them, this Manga was an interesting journey.

This entire series was definitely something.

I'm guessing Nisio had stopped working on this because of that Faust magazine getting canceled. And once he got the chance to resume, he simply already lost his ability to. At least that's what I understood.

I also guess this series lost quite a lot of readers when he decided to make Kizutaka killing his classmate.

His other pawn that was behind the phone also didn't get elaborated until the end.

Btw. Did the chamberlain get reincarnated too?
