Really wonder on humanity will hold on against the demons without Ruti...
Their hostility his driven by the will of god, just like Ruti's "heroness", so it's not like humanity can negotiate or get along with demons

Thank you for translations,

Ye I been wondering the same thing actually. But maybe having a demon tug along with Areas will finally motivate them to go on the offensive once more. Chapter to chapter I wonder, if she gives up being a hero. What will become of her. Will she depower? A normal human, slaughtered by demons because she still poses a threat to them?

That's something I've been wondering about. I know how THIS particular fight ends, and the general idea of where all of the 'heroes party' ends up...but aren't they the big lynchpin that's allowing humanity to make any actual ground against the demonic hordes? Without them constantly being a massive thorn in the demon's side, humanity seems like they're ripe for conquering. I'm not sure how the story ends (presuming the novelized version of events HAS ended at all) but it doesn't seem like it's any good if they really do just settle down in that village and stop caring about the outside world like they claim to want to.

Ares is really weak mentally, despite being a sage. Ruti has a stronger protection (thus it's more oppressive), yet can deal with it better than Ares. Ruti doing relatively well is largely thanks to her relationship with Red, even when they aren't together, but it's precisely Ares's mental weakness that prevented him from having anyone to support him. That weakness made him a scumbag, after all, and scumbags don't have true friends, let alone someone genuinely more than a friend.

Not necessarily. Ruti was the "big stick" but all it needed was a decently levelheaded Guy. Our Red was still the lynchpin despite being outleveld. Honestly considering we have two factions of demons and the "Loyal to God" Faction wants the Hero to stay Hero this whole thing is fishy to begin with.

Apparently Ares learned nothing from that time Ruti damn near ripped him in half for what he did to Gideon.

Then again, he's clearly gone completely insane, so...
