Guys keep in mind that despite having +30 levels, he isn't good with swords or magic (like it was explained towards the beginning). But still, level 46 (16 +30). Pretty high compared to everyone else's. Even without the +30, he's a few levels above them. Kinda odd why he was "dead weight". Did they say what he was good at?

I gotta say that it's pretty scummy to make your own sister think you died. He just doesn't care how traumatic that's gonna be for her? But nah, his self-deprecation is at the level where it's like "I'm bad at fighting compared to the other members of the hero's party, therefore they must all think I'm trash, including my sister who I'm super close with, so she probably won't care at all if I pretend to be dead". That is highly toxic. Like, the sage dude is just a regular comic book villain, but the MC is the really insidious asshole because he thinks he's a good guy.
