Please honorable mangaka, just paint a target on your body and show us how you wish to exit this world. We don't need your suicide letter to be this overt, I'm sure plenty of people can understand the "hidden" meaning of your creation.

@botodopo. You have to remember that Divine protections will brainwash you. The MC is the guide. Everything he is is so that his companions can function and grow. He was told by the sage (literally someone with the divine protection of wisdom) that he is holding everyone back. This completely goes against who he is and he was probably compelled to leave by the Guide protection. He knew that his sister was a bro-con and would never say to him if he was holding her back, so given the facts presented, he left. He left without telling anyone because he knew they would talk him out of it. He believes (wrongly) they would be better off without him so he left like he did because "it was for the good of the hero and party"

This is reinforced by the fact that since he left, she has had a string of major victories. He saw all these wins and assumed the sage was right and they were better off without him.

Just my opinion on it all. I have not read the webcomics or the novel, this is just what I took away from the manga
