@_xXIncognitoModeXx_ Such is the nature of a fantasy world. This is exactly why these worlds are fated to be destroyed and constantly need some kind of hero to keep the power balance in check. The fantasy worlds like this one which actually have gods ruling over the planets have a chance of being changed, but worlds like these, which have no gods or ruling deity are forever going to be stuck in a cycle of creation and destruction, never advancing to anything meaningful. I guess the author didn't think of that because the point of this story is "slow life", so we will never see that world change.

Seems those "blessings" are more then simple impulses, almost as commands! We saw Ruti and recently Lit "acting up" on those commands, with Lit managing to restraint herself! Although Albert is a cunt, he's also acting under his blessing!
And there's definitely no reasons to look for parallels IRL

im kinda on albert side here, we dont know how aggressive the monster would be in mating season. they could be friendly but they also could be 5 page away from becoming goblin in goblin slayer. its doesnt justify albert being a dick, but I prefer being a cold blooded killer than risk seeing my hometown getting ravaged
