Is it because of the trans, or the manga's uniqueness?
I have no idea wtf the characters are saying at all lol

I think it's the translation for the following reasons:
  • A lot of it becomes more clear if you try and figure out what the original Japanese could've looked like. For example the old man in chapter 1 is referring to someone named "Washi", but that's actually one of the pronouns for "I". So it's not "the Washi's period", but "my period", and it's not "Seriously, Washi, are you going to clean this up alone?", but "Seriously, am I supposed to clean this up by myself?". I'm guessing the translator doesn't know Japanese very well.

  • The English is awkward most of the times. For example: "As I said, it looks good, doesn't it?" -> "I told you it looks good, didn't I?" Either the translator's English isn't very good, or they're trying too hard to match the original language literally.

  • There are plenty of regular mistakes, too. For example: "I would love like 100 of these..." -> it's either "love" or "like", but not both at the same time. The proofreader and/or the editor is not doing their job properly, if at all.

  • It's not just chapter 1. All 26 chapters I've read so far are affected.

If I had to rate this translation job on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give it a 2 for "bad".

I do apologize for that. I'm in this group and hopefully as we continue working on this series, they can get better at translating it (English is not there first language).

This group is the only one that took it as I've been trying to bring attention to Manga 5 for years. If you know of any group that is willing to help Peace Scans or even provide a better translation, please let me know.

I appreciate the work you're doing and i apologize for asking the question sarcastically. But as of right now the translation are gibberish and it make me unable to follow the story/plot at all and therefore i dont feel any interest ... my only advice is to fire ur english proofreader lol

2 months, no update. Is the translator even trying?

I keep waiting for them to upload.

... wait.
Again, Peace Scans has been disbanded, so this project has been abandoned again.

Edit: IDK who Noiseless is but they might of been busy

Again I have the RAWS for this series so if any translator or group decides to it up again I'll happily give it to them

Yeah. I just wish Noiesless would finish up already. Can't really be that hard. Especially since all they're doing is OCR-ing pages and pasting shitty MT lines (with minor corrections) in the text boxes.

Fr though. I've not been busy. I agonized over whether I should change line ordering around because I felt like the ordering of a certain set of statements felt... very odd in english. So I wanted to change it to make it flow better. But then I'm thinking 'should i really change this ordering for no reason? Won't people get mad?'

As though anyone is going to notice at all.
