Well, at least we know that the author can't come up with something interesting, just the same old shit tropes that they tend to use. "Cry cry cry, they compare me to him, its his fault, cry cry cry". Fucking hell...
Shion beats him easily, leaves a huge gash across his chest. Shion's about to behead him when he remembers the time he spent with him training, then heals him and lets him go
@deadrabbits the mc is really goddamn fucking naive, what the hell is this shit the power of friendship?! can't he just massacre humanity?! it's really fucking annoying...
Oh wow (monotone). The good looking best friend is actually evil with a massive inferiority complex. Never heard that trope before. Super exciting (monotone).
Seriously I felt nothing from this chapter and was so bored reading it (just ended up skimming and hoping for a "I actually love you" twist). I stand by that clichés aren't necessarily bad, but they're gonna be when they're just there in the chapter and don't actually do anything. The whole thing felt like an obligation. Like "other series where the hero is abandoned do this, so I guess I should". I would have been more interested in the two friends having a tall with the friend honestly working to get the MC the admiration he deserves.
