@yeetmaster6981 Well i don't think being a hero has anything to do with the scale of the problem. If he has the power to save someone from suffering he should do it.

But i wouldn't go so far to say that he wouldn't be a hero if he doesn't save someone corrupted. It's just if he does it would show how big his heart is. But it could also be naive to do so since he might create potential dangers. Everybody makes mistakes but not everybody deserve a second chance

Yeah that's what I think too he shouldn't just go and help everyone but I don't want him to go all sasuke on humanity either. He seems a little naive right now even though he was tortured in the capital. Well I feel bad when he tries to mix and help them and gets humiliated instead I think he shouldn't try to mix in too much instead help them in the background like he did and hope that the author doesn't make him too much of a typical shounen protag.

I wish they did cut the arms off the villagers

having a bunch of armless villagers bobbing around would be a fun visual gag
