This entire manga has been on speed run. This chapter could have been easily expanded to an arc - hell a whole volume if you wanted - but they were set on self-contained chapters it seems.

I'm torn because while I wanted more... what else was there to say with this one?
And we dodged so many page burner cliches - no sudden rival, no losing childhood friend with a promise when they were 5,
