It's heartbreaking really, both grisha and Zeke's stories..
On one hand grisha was just doing what he saw as liberating his people, he wanted to save them and himself and never let what happened to his sister happen to anyone else but in doing so he neglected his son and even worse he only realised what he had done after he lost everything
And zeke was neglected, he knew his family would be thrown away like dirt if he didn't do anything and had to live the rest of his life with the guilt of what he saw as killing his family, so depressing man

If you see through zekes eyes... death is liberation... he has a great weight to carry around... the eldians are just things to the world to make them feel better... thats the cruelty of the world... most humans find enjoyment in that... in using their power to make people suffer.. heck even zackely is an example... he was like an behaving like an eldian in the liberio when he would interact with interior mps... then when he got the chance he would torcher them... like the marleyans are doing to the eldians... what zeke is saying is true... he will save the people by killing them all... and that perhaps is the only way... but humans are can also survive when they are suffering... to defeat the world seems unlikely so the eldians are just gonna be made those playthings that the world removes their frustrations on... this really seems to be going like the code geass way.. like how the japanese were treated by the britanians.. they are gonna make a lelouch out of the brothers ig... and suzaku is a lot like gabi... and perhaps zeke before his backstory was revealed... damn zeke i hope you find peace.

I actually thought that Zeke had some superb plan, to save eldians from the rest of the worlds wrath, not making them go extinct. What a shitty character, and stupid, moronic motivations and reasons for his actions. This dude could've had so many layers, but in the end the guy is just a psycho. The same kind of assholes like in evangelion, who decide themselves, to know that the best of humanity is to turn everyone into some huge pond of primordial soup, when they could just off themself, and leave everyone else at peace.

(To be precise, I'm writing this comment with the presumption that this is all there is to zeke's true motivations/plans, since I have not read the chapters after this while writing this comment.)
