There's some theory out there that Eren is not even there, but back in Paradise Island. Like he controls the founder titan like the War Hammer titan. Now that Zeke is dead he can fall back on Historia's baby to control the founder titan again. It's a really nice theory that makes use what author shown us and such 10k IQ plan lol.

They may have stopped Eren (we'll have to see how the rest of this goes down next chapter), though there is still the unanswered issue of how to deal with the fact people should be more terrified of Eldians than ever before now. Realistically countries would be acting in panic and killing them all, which won't be good for Paradis. Maybe if all colossal titans are confirmed to be killed there may be able to be some kind of peace, only because the world flattening weapon is gone, but people can be cruel when they want revenge. And that's easy to do once the only means of fighting back for the Eldians is no longer possible.

@Naian It might be the case that since Ymir allowed the connection, it's not those resisting the founder's power but rather since no one is really being bound by it now so they all can act if they so desire.
