I don't know if it is a tl error but should it be regiment instead of platoon? platoon seems kinda too small. perhaps company?

way late to the party, but a infantry regiment consist of 2 field battalions of about 800 men, a platoon consist of 20-50 men commanded by a lieutenant, 2 or more platoons make a company and is about 100-250 men and is commanded by a captain or a major, there is more to the sizes depending on a few variables and nation, but thats the general gist of it.

as for the numbers spoken of in the last few chapters, i'm a bit confused, im guessing the 7th platoon they speak of is the group of soldiers she commanded during the attack of the bandit fort, at one of the frames we can see 20 men, which just about makes platoon, but for it to be the 7th platoon dont really make much sense considering the total size of the army being 30k as mentioned in chapter 4, and in later chapter either translator or author mix up terminology and call the 1st and 7th army platoons, and in this chapter, saying she is the strongest in the 7th platoon also dont make much sense considering her platoon is made up of nothing but fresh meat as mentioned in earlier chapter, it would make much more sense to say she is the strongest in the entire army, so i'm guessing either author or translator got something wrong here.

Most likely told her to join them, and I'm guessing he's off somewhere else. The sword isn't him, it's his scythe. He's also not the weird minister that's behind the war, since we could see a scythe behind him too. Current guess is that there's more than one death god, and the other one overstepped his bounds and is causing more death for... reasons? We don't know. So Zed is using his cute daughter to turn the tides and take the souls himself
