I mean, the MC constantly shows off his magic dick to everyone, and the teacher antagonizes him after learning he's a commoner, even after being repeatedly flabbergasted by the magical things the MC have done?
Pretty low effort rage baiting, but this is a pretty low-effort story.

the teacher hasdn't seen the kid use magic yet, and he thinks the recommendation is a forgery. now the teacher's just throwing a tantrum over a commoner not taking his shit.
it's still sloppy ragebait though.

the kid should've used gravity magic to grind the teacher's face through the dirt. if he's gonna go on about commoners being dirty, them make his aristocratic ass the embodiment of filth.

Just to add to it, he should destroy the barrier completely and replace it with a gravity field so any "noble" who walks in is forced to get on their knees and grovel to make it clear how "superior" they are

I think the author & artist missed the mark here, yeah.
He should have created a mudslide the size of the courtyard and trapped the proctor up to his neck in "filth".
That, or conjure a gyre of flame and and gale-force winds as a show of the discrepancy of scale between them.

Just going "I cast fist!" and punching him really hard is a pretty bad way of proving "hey, I've forgotten more about magic than you'll ever know. You ain't shit" in my book.
