He's a very naive fellow if he can just gloss over being poisoned as his own fault, lmao. Sounds like he had no clue Karen was instigating it in the first life.

Agreed, plot would've been 10x more interesting if he actually harbored a grudge, or at least a heightened sense of caution against her and kept her at arms length for a while. Then maybe that homewrecker Karen could've had an opportunity to get between them and drive a wedge, easy source of drama and suspense for the author to work with, but it is a short story, so it's pretty good for what it has to work with.

That was super well executed, I'm so happy for them and his grandma must be smiling at them from the afterlife.

It is a little disturbing how easily the MC killed her fiance though but I guess her brain was being pulled in two different directions via the gaslighting from Karen despite the subtle cues her fiance gave of liking her.
