Well what might have been a half decent story is once again thrown to the wayside by a hapless, useless, whiney, wimpy MMC. I swear to god it’s gotten to the point these days where 8 out of 10 manga have these type mc’s. I wish I could understand the cultural significance to making all the heroes in popular culture people with so little self worth, confidence, and most of the time (this one isn’t of course as it’s the “erotica” category) completely asexual. Just use a “normal everyday guy” template. Well anyway I’ve thrown my fit.. there’s 90+ chapters I’ll read a few more and see if he redeems himself in ANY way.. I just won’t get my hopes up lol.

At this point I wanna start taking bets on just how big of a loser the Mc will become. I’m only on chapter 6 and he’s failed at every single thing he’s done so far.. why would anyone trust him to go to the bathroom by himself, let alone lead men and rescue someone one. Honestly with this guy ordering food through a drive through would take multiple attempts..

Got to chapter 81 and then skimmed through the rest up to 91. It started off interesting but it became repetitive fast. At about chapter 50 the author's set formula for the arcs becomes clear. The MC not showing any interest in the heroines is vexing, feels like the usual japanese neutered MC. The heroines get more sexual attention from other characters, which leaves a fairly stale taste. I would have really liked to see some interactions between any of them and the MC, even if just implied in a page here and there. The character development for the MC is good in a way, but terrible towards the romance side, which is what I was looking forward to, the heroines are forgettable, the antagonists are more memorable than them. The overarching story is interesting, but the arcs themselves being so repetitive takes away from it quite a bit. I would not recommend it, based on what I wrote above.
