@YuSwag Well, Overlord had good enough writing to where it was still nice *despite* the overpowered main character, rather than because of it. It's not like OPM where it's a great manga, and the op main character is written well enough to where even if he wins all the fights guaranteed, it's still fun seeing his character develop. That's the thing with manga and anime with op main characters in any way, the fights either have to be super cool and fun, or the characters have to be written really well.
